Rupesh Shrestha worked as an Architect on post-earthquake reconstruction projects in Nepal. The DAAD alumnus completed his Master of Science in Natural Resources Management and Development from the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne in 2016. Mr. Shrestha served as secretary of the Nepal German Academic Association (NEGAAS) from 2018–2020 and as a DAAD Young Ambassador from 2019–2021. Mr. Shrestha conducted his research fellowship as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern (TUK), Department of Civil Engineering, from 2021–2022. Currently he is working as Technical Coordinator for Flood Resilient Housing Solutions in Banke district.
